Savannah, GA - Savannah Fire Department crews responded to a residential structure fire in the 400 block of Maupas Avenue, where heavy smoke and flames were visible from the roof of a two-story carriage house upon arrival.

Firefighters initiated an aggressive fire attack, working swiftly to contain the fire and prevent further extension within the structure. Crews brought the incident under control in a timely manner, successfully extinguishing the fire.

No injuries or displacements were reported as a result of the incident.
