Mutual Aid Crews Controlled Commercial Building Fire

Bordentown, N.J. — July 11 — A reported commercial building fire at the New Jersey State Police barracks prompted the Department Consolidated Fire Association, located at 20 Crosswicks St., Bordentown Fire District No. 1, Bordentown Fire District No. 2, the Chesterfield Fire Department, and Robert Wood Johnson EMS to react. Crews used a front bumper line to start fighting the fire when Ladder 6015 arrived first.


Fire Police 6018 managed traffic after being transferred from parade duties in Florence, while additional firefighters from Engine 6011 assisted with operations. The fire was contained thanks to well-coordinated mutual assistance efforts, underscoring the significance of prompt action, skilled staff, and robust interagency collaboration in commercial fire situations.
