On July 14, the Green Knoll Fire Department responded to a car fire on southbound Interstate 287.
Firefighters worked to put out the fire and secure the area when Chief Officers Engine 9 and Tanker 34 arrived on the site. Before finishing overhaul procedures and vacating the area, crews swiftly brought the situation under control.
