Poplar Ridge Fire Department Responded to Rollover Crash

Poplar Ridge, N.Y. — June 27 — With help from Southern Cayuga Instant Aid, the Scipio Fire Department, and Fleming Fire Department No. 2, the Poplar Ridge Fire Department responded to a rollover incident. Firefighters secured the area, steadied the overturned car, and assisted EMS staff in providing patient care. Only minor injuries were recorded by officials.
The synchronized response showed how crucial the mutual help system is, enabling nearby organizations to promptly supply more staff and equipment when required. Located at 2423 State Route 34B, the department continued to provide emergency response and fire protection services while collaborating closely with regional partners throughout southern Cayuga County.
