On June 18, the Amwell Valley Fire Company responded to two incidents: a brush fire brought on by downed power lines and a fire in a mutual aid structure.

Engine 48-1 responded to a basement fire on Raven Rock-Rosemont Road in Delaware Township at 1:47 p.m. When firefighters arrived, they saw a lot of smoke, and after leaving the structure, they swiftly put out the fire.

On the way back to the station, workers were sent to Rocktown Road in East Amwell Township, where a brush fire had been started by downed electrical wires. Firefighters safely put out the fire and resumed work after JCP&L de-energized the line.
