Two-Vehicle Crash on Route 52 Sends One to Hospital

Fire, EMS and law-enforcement personnel responded to a two-vehicle crash at Route 52 and Powder Mill Road in the Town of Newburgh, New York, where one person required transportation to a hospital.

Members of Winona Lake Engine Company No. 2, operating within the Orange Lake Fire District, responded to the collision and worked to secure the involved vehicles and address hazards at the scene. Town of Newburgh Emergency Medical Services, Town of Newburgh Police and New York State Police were also reported to have responded.

One person was transported to an area hospital for further evaluation. Police handled the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. No extrication or additional injuries were identified in the information provided.
