NEWBURGH, NY – On July 11th, the Orange Lake/Winona Lake Fire Departments responded to a three-vehicle MVA with injuries at the intersection of State Route 17K and Fletcher Drive. Town of Newburgh Police and EMS were already on scene when firefighters arrived. Crews spread Speedy Dry on fluids that had spilled onto the roadway and worked to secure two vehicles from further hazards. Town of Newburgh EMS transported one individual to Montefiore St. Luke’s Hospital for evaluation. New York State Police assisted with traffic control. The Town of Newburgh Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
