At 0641 on December 7th, Washingtonville Fire Department was dispatched on the first alarm assignment, for the FAST, to a house fire on Harth Drive in the Vails Gate Fire District. Squad 580 responded and stood-by at the scene. The fire was quickly confined to the area of origin by the Vails Gate Fire Department.
