Woburn, MA. — June 25 — The Woburn Fire Department responded to a working structure fire at 4 Knight Ave. following complaints of an attic fire. When firefighters arrived, they discovered smoke and fire in the attic and started suppressing the fire right away. Crews investigated the house, carried out a concerted interior attack, and looked for signs of fire spreading to adjacent areas.

Firefighters limited damage to the remainder of the house by confining the fire to the attic. Under regional response agreements, mutual help departments provided assistance while other teams kept the city covered. The cause of the fire is still being looked into.
