Five Calls Keep Hardwick Firefighters Busy Over Two Days

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Over the course of June 27 and 28, the Hardwick Fire Department responded to five emergency calls: a two-vehicle crash with entrapment, a mutual assistance response to a structure fire in Glover, a carbon monoxide alarm, and two medical helps.

Engine 1, Engine 2, and 10 Hardwick firefighters were needed for the collision, which was designated as Call No. 68. In addition to the Hardwick Rescue Squad and the Hardwick Police Department, the Greensboro Fire Department sent extra equipment.

While workers performed rescue operations, looked into the collision, and cleared the area, the road was stopped for around two hours.
