Car Vs. Dump Truck Leaves One Driver Dead in North Patchogue

NORTH PATCHOGUE, NY - The driver of a Honda Accord veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a Peterbilt dump truck at about 2:49 P.M. on July 8th in the intersection of North Ocean Ave. and Harris Street. The driver of the Honda, a 21-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Suffolk County medical examiner's office. The driver of the dump truck was treated for minor injuries at a nearby hospital.
