On 5/26/2021 the Greenfield Fire Department was dispatched to a home on Cameron's Way during a severe thunderstorm. When crews first arrived they reported a fire due to a lightning strike; multiple mutual-aid crews were then dispatched to the scene. The fire was knocked down shortly after.
