On 5/18/2021 the Dunbarton Fire Department, along with a Concord engine, was dispatched to a reported fire on Jean Drive. The first-due officer reported heavy smoke and fire showing, and a second alarm was dispatched. Due to the head-start the fire got, embers ignited areas of the woods surrounding the home, causing multiple brush fires for companies to contend with. Brush units were special called to the scene to handle those fires.
