GORHAM, NH - Gorham Fire & EMS responded to a reported truck fire adjacent to a building on June 25th. Prior to arrival, the vehicle rolled into the roadway, preventing significant damage to the nearby home, while bystanders used a garden hose to contain remaining fire in the surrounding grass. Crews deployed a pre-connect from Engine 1 to complete fire attack, bringing the incident under control and conducting overhaul operations using approximately 750-gallons of onboard water. Gorham Fire & EMS acknowledged Gorham Police Department for traffic control and Gorham Public Works for roadway cleanup assistance.
