Deposit, NY - The Deposit Fire Department, assisted by Eastern Broome Emergency Services and multiple mutual aid companies, responded to a reported building fire in the Town of Deposit. First-arriving units confirmed a working fire in the roof of a high-hazard industrial building.
Due to the nature of the occupancy and resource demands, a second alarm was requested, bringing additional fire and EMS support to the scene. Crews quickly contained the fire to a small section of the roof and completed overhaul operations to ensure full extinguishment.
Masonville Fire Department provided station coverage during the incident. The fire was determined to be accidental, and no injuries were reported.
