Cause for Colonial Heights garage fire released

COLONIAL HEIGHTS,VA-On June 9th at 9:13 p.m. Colonial Heights Fire and EMS along with Chesterfield Fire and EMS (Chesterfield as mutual aid) responded to the 900 Block of Edinborough for a garage fire.
"The fire was contained to the garage with only minor damage to an interior wall just below the garage window," said J.E. Boisseau, IAAI CFI,Colonial Heights Fire and EMS.
No one was displaced or injured.
The cause of the fire was determined to be a failure of a battery pack for garden tools,Boisseau said.
