Weare, N.H. — July 5 — Engine 2 was sent on a mutual assistance mission by the Weare Fire Rescue Department to a third-alarm building fire on Weare Road in New Boston. As other departments collaborated to limit the fire and safeguard surrounding properties, firefighters helped with fire suppression, water supply, and scene assistance.

In order to handle major events and ensure firefighter safety throughout prolonged operations, third-alarm reactions bring in more staff and equipment. Until the command released resources for mutual aid, wearing teams stayed on the spot. The reaction illustrated the importance of coordinated actions and regional cooperation in efficiently handling complicated fire emergencies.
