Alton, N.H. — June 15 — When the Alton Fire Department responded to a serious motorcycle collision on Mount Major Highway, law officers, EMS workers, and firefighters collaborated to handle the situation. While authorities looked into the collision, crews helped with traffic management, secured the area, and provided emergency care.

To enable responders to work safely and finish the investigation, Mount Major Highway was blocked between the two entrances to Route 11D. Until the roadway reopened, drivers were advised to take other routes. Officials had not disclosed any further details on the individuals involved, and the cause of the collision was still being investigated.
