Swift Multi-Agency Response Stops Nursing Home Roof Fire

Allendale, NJ - The Allendale Fire Department responded to a confirmed roof fire at a local nursing home, with mutual aid units from Waldwick, Ramsey, Ho-Ho-Kus, and Saddle River assisting on scene.


Upon arrival, crews quickly assessed the situation and initiated an aggressive response to contain the fire at its point of origin. Thanks to coordinated efforts and swift action, the fire was brought under control within minutes, preventing extension into the structure and limiting potential damage.


Operations focused on ensuring the safety of residents and staff while crews completed suppression and checked for any hidden fire.


No injuries were reported.
