HARPURSVILLE, NY - A truck towing a trailer crashed and damaged a NYSEG utility pole, prompting the Harpursville Fire Department to respond on June 7th. While the damaged car was being tended to, firefighters stayed on scene, controlled traffic, and guarded the area. Until NYSEG utility technicians arrived to evaluate the damaged pole and secure the scene, crews kept a safety perimeter. There were no reported injuries.
