Harpursville Fire Department Responded to Route 79 Crash

Harpursville, N.Y. — June 4 — On State Route 79, the Harpursville Fire Department was called to a single-vehicle collision involving minor entrapment. Firefighters worked alongside EMS workers to stabilize the vehicle and safely extract the driver. Colesville Ambulance took the driver, who had minor injuries, to a nearby hospital for assessment and care.


Crews remained on scene to secure the car, aided with traffic control, and helped restore normal roadway conditions. Hendrickson's Auto Repair assisted with car retrieval. The event ended safely and the lane reopened quickly because to the coordinated response, which showed excellent coordination among the fire, EMS, and towing workers.
