South Hackensack Firefighters Assist During Busy Mutual Aid Coverage

While crews worked at a second commercial building fire on June 10th, members of the South Hackensack Fire Department responded with Engine 401 to provide mutual aid coverage for the Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department.


Engine 401 and the Moonachie Fire Department were called to a four-vehicle collision on Route 17 South while covering Hasbrouck Heights, according to officials. After helping with the situation, firefighters continued to provide coverage until the Hasbrouck Heights units could return. By 10:39 p.m., every South Hackensack unit had returned to town.
