Wyckoff Crews Responded After Vehicle Struck Building

Wyckoff, N.J. — June 12 — Following reports that a car had struck Abma's Farm, the Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department arrived at the scene. Firefighters who arrived verified the incident, used temporary shoring to stabilize the damaged building, and secured the car to remove any further risks. Before beginning recovery works, the township building department was asked to examine the structure and assess its safety.


The car was later taken off the scene by a towing company. Before clearing the scene, firefighters also looked for structural issues and utility dangers. There were no reported injuries. The area remained safe for both residents and responders thanks to the well-coordinated reaction, which also helped to secure the property.
