Endicott Platoon 4 Responded to Two Fire Incidents

Endicott, N.Y. — June 20 — During a hectic working day, Platoon 4 of the Endicott Fire Department, located at 224 Madison Ave., responded to two fire occurrences. Squad 25 initially aided the Union Center Fire Company at a second-alarm structure fire, where firefighters worked with mutual aid crews to support fireground operations and suppression. The platoon cleared the area before responding to a fire near En-Joie Golf Course along the Susquehanna River.


Before the fire spread to neighboring plants, firefighters swiftly confined and put it out. The instances demonstrated the department's operational preparedness, successful mutual aid collaborations, and ongoing dedication to safeguarding people, property, and communities throughout Broome County.
