One Injured After Rollover Crash Traps Driver at Amherst Street and Airport Road Intersection

Nashua, NH - Nashua Fire Rescue responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a rollover at the intersection of Amherst Street (Route 101A) and Airport Road, resulting in one person being trapped and injured.


Engine 5 arrived first and found one vehicle overturned with the sole occupant still inside. Engine 5 established incident command on scene, with crews stabilizing the vehicle and beginning rescue operations. Ladder 1, along with AMR ALS 12 and Deputy Chief Scott Mobley, also responded to the incident.


Firefighters from Ladder 1 used hydraulic extrication tools to access and safely remove the trapped driver. The occupant sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital by AMR ALS 12.


After the rescue, crews secured both vehicles by disconnecting batteries and addressing fluid leaks. Nashua Police assisted with traffic control and scene safety.
