Paterson FD Makes Good Stop on Dwelling Fire

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

06-21-25 630pm, The Paterson FD responded to a working fire in a single family home in a park like residential setting on Manor Ave. Arriving units found heavy fire from the B-C corner of the house with extension thru the roof. Ladder 3 extended their stick and began to attack the fire from above. Units began an interior attack, but were pulled out due to the volume of fire and solar panels that were located on the roof. Once the roof collapsed inward, the interior attack resumed and the fire was quickly contained. Damage to the 2nd floor of the home was extensive. There were no injuries and units began calling back in service within the hour. Deputy Chief AJ Woods was officer in charge.
