Members of the Shrewsbury Fire Department responded to a car accident on the Main Street on-ramp to Interstate 290 East on May 27.

One driver was hurt in the collision, according to officials, and he was assessed and given basic medical attention. At the incident, firefighters supported traffic safety measures, secured hazards, and assisted with cleanup efforts.

In order to help reestablish safe driving conditions on the road, crews also attempted to recover electronic supplies that had been ejected from one of the vehicles during the crash.
