Brooksville, FL - Hernando County Fire Rescue crews responded early Thursday morning to a rollover crash with entrapment on northbound I-75 near the 295-mile marker.

Firefighters used extrication equipment to free one occupant trapped inside the vehicle. Two patients were classified as trauma alerts and were transported by medical helicopter to area trauma centers for advanced care.

Following the emergency response and initial investigation, one lane of northbound traffic was reopened. Motorists were advised to expect continued delays while crews worked to clear the scene.
