Mutual Aid Crews Dispatched to Reported Commercial Structure Fire
Pawlet, VT - The West Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched alongside the Hartford, Middle Granville, and North Granville fire departments on a second-alarm assignment for a reported commercial structure fire in the Granville Fire District after smoke was reported inside a building.
West Pawlet responded with Engine 582 and Tanker 583 and their respective crews as mutual aid resources were mobilized to support Granville firefighters.
Upon arrival, Granville Fire units investigated the source of the smoke and determined the issue was related to an air-handling system. No active fire was found within the structure.
With the incident quickly brought under control and no fire conditions present, mutual aid companies were released from the scene and returned to service.
