Portland Fire Assists Students with Hands-On Auto Extrication Training

Portland, ME - Members of Portland Fire Department Rescue 1 recently assisted students at the Westbrook Regional Vocational Center with auto extrication training.
The session provided students with hands-on experience using fire department equipment in a safe, controlled environment while learning the fundamentals of vehicle rescue operations.
Firefighters also shared insight into the fire service and the ongoing training required in the profession. Platoon 2 was on duty during the event.
