Multi-Agency Response Locates ATV Crash Victim in Sebago

Sebago, ME - Sebago Fire & EMS responded to the area of Peaked Mountain Road and Folley Road for an ATV accident with injuries, prompting a large-scale search and rescue operation.


Due to limited communication and an unclear location, mutual aid was requested from multiple agencies, including Naples Fire-EMS, Standish Fire-EMS, Maine Warden Service, Southern Maine Search and Rescue, and the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department. Lifeflight of Maine was placed on standby, and Baldwin Fire covered Station 2.


Crews located the patient after an extensive search of wooded trails. Additional assistance from Denmark Fire Department and Baldwin Fire was requested for a lengthy carryout operation.


The patient was packaged and transported via UTV and personnel to the awaiting ambulance following a coordinated multi-agency response
