Sebago Center, ME — July 22 — Engine 2, Tank 2, and Ambulance 5 were dispatched by the Sebago Fire Department to Standish due to a second-alarm fire. The three units for the mutual help reaction were manned by eight firefighters and EMS personnel. While Tank 2 assisted with water supply operations, Engine 2 supplied resources for fighting fires. EMS coverage for the incident was provided by Ambulance 5.
While Standish firefighters battled the fire, the Sebago teams added people and equipment. Coordinated emergency coverage between nearby areas was also maintained thanks to the reaction. For structural fires and other situations requiring extra fire suppression, water supply, and emergency medical services, the Sebago Fire Department frequently offered mutual aid. After finishing the mission, crews went back into service.
