Mutual Aid Crews Support Glocester Firefighters at Working Structure Fire

Providence, RI - Members of the Chopmist Hill Volunteer Fire Department responded as part of a mutual aid assignment to a working structure fire on Shaw Road in the Town of Glocester.
Tanker 61 assisted with the tanker shuttle operation, while firefighters from Engine 62 worked alongside crews on scene with overhaul and extinguishment efforts. A total of six members responded and operated at the incident for approximately two hours.
An additional four members remained at Station 60 to provide district coverage during the response.
The department extends its thoughts and prayers to those affected by the fire.
