Auburn, NY - Firefighters responded to a reported vehicle fire at the intersection of Clark Street Road and Short Road, where crews arrived to find a working fire involving a motor vehicle.

Engine 2 arrived within minutes of dispatch and initiated an immediate fire attack, quickly bringing the situation under control. Additional units, including Engines 1 and 2 as well as support apparatus, assisted with suppression and ensured the fire did not spread or escalate.

Crews remained on scene to complete overhaul operations and confirm full extinguishment before all units were returned to service later in the afternoon.
