Newburgh FD responded to a reported structure fire on June 13th at 187 South Robinson Ave. Smoke was coming from residence-firefighters used hand line to extinguish the fire. City/Newburgh Police blocked the road on South Robinson Ave during the operation. Firefighters took panels off front of residence where air condition was in window- Origin and Cause was at scene. Further investigation fire was started by wire from refrigerator that ran to electrical outlet. Empress EMS was at scene.
