NEWBURGH, NY - Cronomer Valley FD responded to a motorcycle vs. vehicle MVA with injuries on June 17th at State Route 32 and Gidney Ave. Town of Newburgh EMS arrived on scene and requested a MedEvac for the injured motorcyclist. Town of Newburgh and State Police were also at the scene. Firefighters spread speedy dry on fluids on the roadway and then set up a landing zone for the MedEvac. Town of Newburgh EMS transported the patient to the awaiting MedEvac, who was then airlifted to Westchester Medical Center. Traffic was blocked heading north on Route 32 until the scene was clear. Town of Newburgh Police are investigating the cause.
