Two-Vehicle Crash on Saxton Road Results in Minor Injuries

Saxton, PA - At approximately 3:20 p.m. on June 11, Company 35, Unit 15, and Rescue 36 were dispatched to a reported two-vehicle motor vehicle collision on Saxton Road.


Upon arrival, Assistant Chief 35-1 confirmed a two-vehicle crash with no entrapment and only minor injuries. Rescue 36 was subsequently placed available. EMS personnel from Unit 15 evaluated both drivers at the scene, with one individual transported to a local hospital for further assessment.


Personnel from Rescue 35 remained on scene to clear debris from the roadway, while fire police provided traffic control to ensure the safety of motorists and emergency responders. No additional rescue operations were required.


The incident was investigated by the Saxton Police Department.
