Second Alarm Grass Fire Contained; No Injuries Reported

Miami, FL - Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews, alongside the Florida Forest Service, responded to a grass fire in the area of Southwest 120th Street and Southwest 137th Avenue, initially dispatched as a first alarm.
Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke and active flames. Due to the size and spread of the fire, the incident was upgraded to a second alarm, bringing in additional resources to support suppression efforts and protect nearby structures and roadways.
Crews operated around the fire perimeter to contain the blaze and successfully brought it under control. Intermittent road closures were implemented during the incident to allow safe operations.
Smoke was visible throughout the area, and residents were advised to take precautions to limit exposure. No injuries were reported.
