BYRAM, NJ - On June 3rd, Byram Fire Department was dispatched to 56 Fieldstone Trail for a reported chimney fire.
On scene, Engine 4 notified dispatch of heavy smoke coming from the eaves of the residence, prompting the 2nd alarm.
Engine 4's crew made entry, pushing to the second-floor, where fire was found that had spread into the attic. The bulk of the fire was knocked down quickly, preventing further spread and structural damage.
Arriving units went straight to work, conducting ventilation efforts and overhaul.
