Hernando, FL - Hernando County Fire Rescue responded to a residential fire in the 5300 block of Tower Street in Dade City, where crews arrived to find a large shed—being used as a residence—with heavy smoke showing.

Firefighters quickly confirmed no occupants or pets were inside and brought the fire under control in a short time. No injuries were reported.

The fire was later determined to have been caused by an electrical issue within the structure.
