Hernando, FL - Hernando County Fire Rescue responded to a five-vehicle crash at the intersection of Cortez Boulevard and the Suncoast Parkway.

Crews operated on scene with partial eastbound lane blockages while patients were assessed and treated. Two occupants were transported by ground to area hospitals for their injuries.

The incident caused traffic delays in the area before being cleared. All lanes have since reopened and normal traffic flow has resumed.
