Cape Coral, FL - Cape Coral firefighters arrived to find a fully involved garage fire in the 4900 block of SW 26th Place, with multiple small explosions reported.

Crews stretched over 1,000 feet of hose for water supply and utilized aerial operations to control the fire. A heavy fuel load, including vehicles, a motorcycle, and ammunition, contributed to the intensity.

Firefighters contained the fire to the detached garage while protecting nearby structures. The fire was extinguished within 30 minutes.

No injuries were reported. The cause remains under investigation with assistance from the State Fire Marshal due to unsafe interior conditions.
