Savannah, GA - Savannah Fire Department crews responded to the 1900 block of Linhurst Drive for a residential structure fire, with smoke and flames visible upon arrival.

Firefighters placed water on the fire within minutes and brought the incident under control shortly after, successfully extinguishing the fire and limiting further damage.

The fire was declared out following overhaul operations. One resident has been displaced as a result of the incident.

Crews remained on scene to ensure all hazards were mitigated.
