Vehicle Fire on I-75 Quickly Contained

Charlotte, FL - Charlotte County Fire & EMS responded to a vehicle fire on I-75 northbound near mile marker 150, with Engine 7, Rescue 31, and a Battalion Chief assigned.
Crews arrived to find a sedan fully involved with fire extending from the engine compartment. The fire was quickly extinguished, and all lanes were temporarily shut down before reopening.
Two occupants were out of the vehicle prior to arrival, and no injuries were reported.
