Crystal River, FL - Crystal River Fire Department responded to a reported fire behind a residential building on NE 9th Street, with Engine 1 and Brush 1 arriving on scene.

Crews located a 20 x 20 area of burning vegetation behind the residence and quickly brought the fire under control.

No occupants were found on scene, and the structure is believed to be vacant. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
