On Saturday June 3rd 2023 the Lindenhurst Fire Department Hosted it 63rd Firemen's Parade and Invite. The parade started at 10:00 AM. The drill started at 12:15 PM. The teams that competed were Lindenhurst FD Snails, Miller Place FD Extinguishers, Central ISlip FD Hoboes, Patchogue FD Forty Thieves, Copiague FD Yellow Birds, Hagerman FD Gamblers, East Islip FD Guzzlers, Oyster Bay FD Teddy Boys, West Hempstead FD Westerners, Westbury FD Turtles w New Hyde Park FD Termites, Islip FD Wolves, North Lindenhurst FD Piston Knockers, Bay Shore FD Redskins, West Islip FD Raiders, East Farmingdale FD Hares, West Sayville FD Flying Dutchman, Farmingville FD Bandits. The drill events consisted of Three Man Ladder, B Ladder, C Ladder, C Hose, B Hose, Efficiency, Motor Pump, Buckets. The Central Islip FD Hoboes won the 2023 Lindenhurst Invite with 30.5 Points.
