Hernando, FL - Hernando County Fire Rescue units responded to a traffic crash just north of the intersection of Cortez Blvd and Mondon Hill Rd.

Upon arrival, crews assessed the scene and provided medical care to two occupants involved in the crash.

One patient was transported to a local hospital, while a second patient was transported by ground to a trauma center for further evaluation.
