New Britain, CT. - A small fire was quickly extinguished in a second floor rear apartment at 55 Tremont Street around 7:00 A.M., on June 3rd. One person suffered from smoke inhalation but refused to go to the hospital. The large apartment building is a former school. The cause is under investigation.
