WEST SUNBURY, PA. — April 30th — When a tractor-trailer rollover occurred, West Sunbury Volunteer Fire Department firefighters arrived to help North Washington VFD. While emergency personnel attempted to secure the scene and help recovery operations, crews from West Sunbury VFD, located at 772 Hall Road in Butler, gave mutual aid. Due to the necessity for traffic management, vehicle stabilization, fuel spill concerns, and specialist recovery equipment, incidents involving large commercial vehicles frequently call for help from several departments.
In order to guarantee a secure and well-run operation, firefighters collaborated with nearby agencies. When events call for further assistance, agencies can pool staff and resources thanks to mutual aid responses, which are still a crucial component of emergency service operations. The cause of the collision and any other information about injuries were not immediately made public.
