WEST GREENWICH, RI - A reported pickup truck fire on May 27th prompted Lake Mishnock Fire/Rescue, West Greenwich Fire Department #1, and West Greenwich EMS to respond to Weaver Hill Road.

Chief 203 was the first to arrive and verified that there was a working car fire. Soon after, Tanker 1 arrived and firefighters started suppression operations using a handline.

Crews retrieved equipment and went back to work after the fire was put out and the area was secured. There were no reported injuries.
